It's okay to talk about drinking

See how men at Andy’s Man Club are opening up about drinking and using the Drinking Check to understand their relationship with alcohol.

Talking about drinking can feel just as difficult as talking about how we’re feeling. That’s why we’ve reconnected with members of Andy’s Man Club to see how their relationship with alcohol has changed over time.

About the campaign

In May 2025, Drinkaware teamed up with Andy’s Man Club to encourage men to open up about alcohol and mental health. The response was powerful with many men expressing how it was the first time they’d reflected on their drinking habits.

This autumn 2025, we’re continuing the conversation. We’ve checked back in with members of Andy’s Man Club to hear how their relationship with alcohol has changed since we last spoke. From family responsibilities to fitness goals, from everyday routines to big wake-up calls, alcohol plays a bigger role in our lives than we often realise.

The Drinking Check

One of the most powerful tools for keeping a check on your drinking is the Drinking Check. It’s quick, free, and completely confidential, helping you:

  • Reflect on your drinking habits
  • Spot any patterns or risks
  • Get tailored advice and simple tips to cut back
  • Feel reassured if you’re on track

Take the first step today.
