About the role
The Research and Insight Manager supports our social marketing campaigning and behaviour change activity by ensuring that it is informed by relevant evidence and that its impact is evaluated. The role involves commissioning and overseeing research to provide new insight research and market research to test creative messages, products and interventions.You will be writing evidence reports based on desk research as part of horizon scanning as well as supporting campaigns and PR/media activity. The Research and Insight Manager leads internally on developing our UK drinker segmentation work and works closely with our social marketing team to develop theory of change models to design activity and set KPI targets. The role commissions research agencies and external academics to undertake evaluations where needed to supplement our understanding of impact, based on routine data monitoring, assessing our effectiveness in helping people making better choices to reduce alcohol-related harm.
The Drinkaware Trust is an independent UK-wide, public facing body with the objective of positively changing public behaviour to help reduce alcohol misuse and minimise alcohol-related harm, by helping people make better choices about their drinking.
