Drink driving remains one of the most preventable alcohol‑related harms, and our response highlights the role of public understanding in reducing risk and keeping people safe on the roads. It also sets out the importance of any changes being introduced as part of a comprehensive approach, alongside effective enforcement, education and supporting measures to deter people from drink driving.
