Drinkaware held a workshop with a large group of stakeholders from health, government, industry and the voluntary sector in London. The event provided an opportunity for us to share our strategic plans for 2014 and beyond, and to get the views of those around the table on how Drinkaware should continue to develop. We are particularly keen to explore opportunities to work in partnership to make effective use of resources and expertise, and in amongst our areas for discussion we focused on:

  • The role of social marketing in driving behaviour change - what can we learn from other sectors
  • What makes for successful partnerships
  • How can Drinkaware contribute to the wider health agenda to reduce alcohol-related harm?

The event provided an open forum for stakeholders to discuss these issues and contribute to the debate on Drinkaware’s future.
