If you are concerned you have a problem with alcohol there is lots of help available.

Your GP is a good place to start and can help you figure out if you should make any changes in your drinking and offer help and advice along the way.

If you want to give someone a call, Drinkline (0800 917 8282) is a confidential helpline for those concerned about their own drinking or that of someone else. They can direct you to local support services.

How do I access your resources?

Drinkaware produces a wide range of educational tools and resources, all of which are available to order from our online shop (www.resources.drinkaware.co.uk). There is a comprehensive Help page on the site which should answer any other questions you may have..
How do I pay for your resources?

Our shop system credits each organisation/user with FREE £85 free credit when they register. The cost of the products is then deducted from this credit, and the price of each resource is listed next to it so you can keep track of how much credit you have left. Once you've spent your credit, you're able to place further orders by paying with credit or debit card. If you wished to use all of your £85 credit in one go, you could order approx 185 unit calculators for this amount (a small delivery charge is also debited from your credit account.) If you wished to pay for further unit calculators, they are charged at 45p each. ONLY orders over £500 can be invoiced – in this case an ‘invoice’ option appears at check out, just click it and we will invoice you..
When will the unit measure cups/ unit calculator be back in stock?

We try our best to ensure all products are in stock – we are sorry if what you need isn’t available. if you would like an alert when they are back please use the contact form to send us an email with 'unit cups' or ‘unit wheels’ in the subject line. There is not a pre-order system available..
Do you produce publications in any other languages?

At the present time all our publications are printed in English but do contact us to discuss other formats..
Are you a drinks company, who can get me access to promotions/your products?

No - Drinkaware is an educational charity which seeks to promote sensible drinking. Although our logo and web address feature on beverage containers and in licensed premises, we are not responsible for the production of these products. We advise you to direct questions and comments regarding the products themselves to the relevant company, whose contact information should be listed on their website..

Can I use your logo?

I am an alcohol producer, is it compulsory to use your logo?

Use of the logo is considered best practice but it is voluntary and you can use it at your discretion. For further questions about logos please use the contact form to email us. You can find more information on alcohol labelling in general from The Portman Group: www.portmangroup.org.uk.

Can you send someone to talk at my event?

As we are a small charity, with a small staff base, I am afraid that we cannot offer people to come and talk. However perhaps our website's online shop (www.drinkaware.co.uk/resources) would be useful..
I am a student can you help with my dissertation / media project?

As we have a small staff base here at Drinkaware we are unable to provide bespoke quotes for students. However you are welcome to reproduce quotes from our website or the press releases in features as long as they are credited to Drinkaware appropriately, and as long as the articles are not for commercial publication. There is lots of information on our website. Please use the search bar in the top right hand corner to navigate to the most relevant pieces for you. All our recent press releases are on our website in the Media section (www.drinkaware.co.uk/media). These contain quotes from our senior spokespeople on a wide variety of issues to do with alcohol- so comments can be lifted from here.
