We aim to fund projects that make a tangible difference to raising alcohol awareness and advancing alcohol education. It is important for us to gather standardised evaluations from projects we fund so that we can compare them and gain an overall picture of how successful our funding has been.
We also aim to collect feedback on particular successes and challenges faced by our funded projects with the aim of sharing that learning in future.
All funded projects must complete our Evaluation Form within one month of project completion. We may also call or visit recipients of larger grants to discuss learning and progress.
We also like to see copies of other evaluation reports, summaries and studies that your project carries out.
Where you are planning the design of a resource or workshop, we normally ask that you send us the message(s) that you want to promote showing which elements of alcohol awareness they will cover. Agreeing to let us see your messages means that we can help you ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Your project’s messages must adhere to Department of Health guidelines on responsible drinking and use the most current and accurate information on alcohol and its effects on the body.
The latest information on alcohol and its effects on the body is available across the Drinkaware website.
