Programme: Alcohol Awareness Training Programme

GYIP offers information, advice, free internet access and pragmatic learning support for local young people.  GYIP has created an alcohol awareness exhibition for pupils in the local area in response to requests from local schools for accessible alcohol education and information for young people. 

The exhibition will be shown to the S4 and S5 year groups in 5 local schools currently experiencing the most acute consequences of dangerous drinking.  The exhibitions will be supported by open discussion with youth workers and reusable alcohol education resources. 

GYIP will evaluate the work through questionnaires initially and three months after participation to demonstrate long-term knowledge retention.
