Too many bottles for your recycling bin?

Drinking at home is on the increase, especially among people in their mid 20s to 40s. Almost a quarter of women and more than a third of men are drinking more than is recommended in Government guidelines. New research reveals that one in six people are concerned by the amount of alcohol they're drinking at home based on the number of bottles and cans they recycle. With that in mind, the Drinkaware Autumn 2008 campaign used the image of a recycling bin full of bottles to encourage ‘at home drinkers’ to consider their weekly alcohol consumption.

We brought this campaign to life with a video that demonstrates the potentially embarrassing scenario of what to do once you have filled your recycling bin, but still have bottles to spare. Have you ever found yourself filling a neighbour’s bin with your empties?
