Drinkaware is funded by donations from the alcohol industry. An important and ambitious organisation, Drinkaware has a programme of activities designed to attract funding from as broad a range a base of support as possible.

View the funds we have received from our funders since 2007

Current funders include major retailers and producers, including members of The Portman Group who have pledged approximately £2.1 million per year for the first three years of Drinkaware’s operation. We work with a wide selection of organisations to tackle alcohol misuse, to lead education campaigns and develop corporate social responsibility campaigns.

Individual donations

If you have found this site helpful, interesting or useful and you wish to support Drinkaware’s work, why not consider a donation? Your donation will help us to achieve our key objectives of helping change the UK drinking culture to help reduce alcohol misuse and alcohol-related harms.

If you, your company, or organisation would like to make a donation, please download a donation form, fill in your details and email it to Katy Evans, alternatively, you can call Katy on: 020 7766 9900.

There are many ways you can donate:

Give regularly by Standing Order - view our downloadable donation form

Or use the same donation form to send a single donation. The donation form includes a GiftAid declaration; if you pay UK tax, signing this declaration will boost your gift by an extra 28p in the £.

Give As You Earn - if your employer operates Give As You Earn, nominate Drinkaware as your chosen charity. This is a very tax effective way to make regular gifts - visit cafonline.org.

Help us after your lifetime - Leaving a gift in your Will (a legacy) will help to ensure that we can continue our valuable work.

If you have already included Drinkaware in your Will, please let us know so that we can acknowledge your generosity. Give shares and securities - you can now give shares and other investments to UK registered charities like Drinkaware. This is a very tax-effective way of giving. Visit cafonline.org

Give us your CAF charity gift vouchers - These are the perfect way to celebrate weddings, birthdays, Christmas and maybe a special anniversary like a Golden Wedding. Visit cafonline.org to find out more.

In Memoriam - If you have lost a loved one due to alcohol misuse you might want to consider making a donation to Drinkaware as a way to remember them and help others. There are many ways to give in memory, for example, you could make a donation to Drinkaware instead of buying flowers for a funeral.
